Our Private Wealth team supports clients through every stage of life. They provide advice on investment and wealth creation strategies, superannuation and pre-retirement planning/retirement, self-managed super fund and corporate super, portfolio management services, wealth protection and estate planning and more.

What you’ll do:  

 As a Private Wealth Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:  

  • Provide research-based support to Advisers
  • Assist with requesting and collating information and preparing documents
  • Laise with clients regarding general correspondence
  • Maintain accurate client records.

What you’ll offer:  

  • You will be in your final year, or have recently completed a Financial Planning, Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Business or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
  • Your ability to commence full-time in January 2026.

Pros and cons of working at BDO Australia

Pros

  • The culture in and out of the office is great.

  • My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.

  • Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.

  • Never any pressure to stay late.

  • The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.

Cons

    • Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.

    • The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.

    • Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.

    • Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.

    • Could include more women, however this is the industry.
