What happens after you apply & more information:

  • Successful Graduates will commence February 2022
  • You will receive an email confirming our receipt of your application
  • Each application is reviewed individually
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete an online video interview, further testing with successful candidates invited to attend an assessment centre by Thursday, 01 April 2021. Assessment centres will either be run in our local office or virtually.
  • For successful applicants, our Assessment Centres will be scheduled from Tuesday, 20 April to Thursday, 22 April 2021
  • Applications close Friday, 26 March 2021 at 11:59 PM (AEST)

Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.

Pros and cons of working at BDO Australia

Pros

  • The culture in and out of the office is great.

  • My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.

  • Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.

  • Never any pressure to stay late.

  • The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.

Cons

    • Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.

    • The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.

    • Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.

    • Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.

    • Could include more women, however this is the industry.
