I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.

Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.

Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

My role and day-to-day responsibilities change all the time so it is very varied.

Sometimes can be a bit slow

The best thing about my current role is my day-to-day activities constantly change. Some days may be simple bookkeeping, some may be more complex tax returns or activity statement lodging, some days may be more client specific work

I worked at graduate auditor. My responsibilities are helping the senior to finish the Audit testing. As a graduate, there are so much to learn about.

Tax briefings with expatriates. Filing Individual tax returns. Lodging and preparing SGC. Research tasks regarding tax consequences for non-residents/ temporary residents. Fringe Benefit Tax work.

As a graduate auditor. My responsibilities are to assist the senior staff with the planning and execution stage audit work. Such as performing audit tests and interviewing clients.

Examining company accounts and financial control systems. Interacting with clients to perform variety of tasks.

Drafting R&D applications Calculating R&D expenditure Performing risk checks on prospective clients

I assist with various cyber engagements which range from helping clients with their cyber defence capabilities or developing their incident manage capabilities.

Grad Cyber Role - spend the days sending out client meetings via email, conducting in person/virtual walkthroughs, offer insights into the cyber world and discuss risk with clients

Finishing off tasks given by seniors and managers, liaising with clients.

Tax compliance.

Transfer pricing consultant, a lot of compliance and advisory work, there is a good split.

Reconciling accounting balances and collate source documents for Audit File.

I do mostly compliance work but am being offered more and more consulting work as time goes on
