Salary at BDO Australia

I am satisfied, but the opportunity to grow was not as lucrative as what I assumed.

Standard for the industry

I agree as a grad pay. But recently cost of living is quite high.

Pay is normal like other companies considering I am at graduate position.

The graduate bonus was great to have as most companies don't offer that.

The pay is $65k including super, so with the cost of living pressures it is not a comfortable salary.

BDO provides a reasonable and competitive salary package in the industry and provides opportunities for salary discussions twice a year.

I know I could be paid more at another company doing the same thing, but I stay because I see a future with BDO. Grad salary is too low to go without promotion for over 18 months.

I don't know much about the bonuses provided by BDO. I think the pay is fair considering that I am commencing as a graduate. It appears on par with other professional services firm in Adelaide.

Pay as a graduate is quite low (although competitive for the professional services market). This is understandable given the level of training required to be put in when hiring a grad. They do offer hiring bonuses if you refer someone for a job and they are hired. I haven't been here long enough to personally encounter this.

Pay is reasonable however wouldn't mind it a little higher as there is no bonus system (nor time in lieu or RDO for my division).

While generous for graduate standards, my prior experience and expectations were not met. As I am aware no bonus scheme is in place.

Firm needs to align performance with bonuses as there is currently no bonus system

We have SAS day, it happened when the busy season nearly ends. Really nice lunch and catch up with co-workers. Also, our social club's event is very fun as well. We also have a range of benefits (gym membership etc). Paid interstate training as well!!!

Due to the nature of our department (Audit & Assurance), meal allowance and Ubers and petrol will be provided if there's overtime or travel to the client's site.

We have the most different perks every month. You can really tell they put time into organising authentic external companies to come in and offer us perks.

If you pay to be in the social club you get perks. You are able to work from home after you finish being a graduate, however, not recommended beforehand.

Every Friday afternoon you can enjoy a free drink with your colleagues. Not only that, BDO also often holds various events such as EOFY dinner and Christmas parties
