Process driven work that impacts daily operations

I have been very fortunate to work on a variety of projects throughout my time on the grad program. These projects have allowed me to develop a diverse set of skills and get a strong understanding of the bp business. I have also been given lots of opportunities to work with a range of people from different areas of the business and expand my professional networks.

I assist the category team with data enquiries and building reports for them. I also run weekly feeder forums for various teams.

My role is to support all fleet and future energy project work. Day-to-day I am performing project coordination, strategy work, and research to create upcoming products or improve existing products.

Quite satisfied over all just put a 7 as my role is often quite dependent on getting information from other people to meet deadlines and when they cannot pass on relevant material it reflects poorly on me,

Generally Technical Support for different evolving projects. My role is a lot of desktop research to provide technical guidance for hydrogen project development, decarbonization of global corporates and decarbonization of the Mining Industry. A large portion of my work this year has been on GHG Accounting, and CO2 abatement strategy.

I plan, deliver and reflect on campaigns within our AU convenience market and wild bean cafe brand. I act as a brand advisor for our internal category team to ensure all promotions are aligned with our brand standards. This year I have also have the opportunity to deliver a number of community campaigns, working with our community partners.

My role is operational and fulfils a company-specific function, not in line with my skills or interests.

Not operational. My role changes as the work changes. A lot of planning work & evaluation of investments.

I've been given projects to implement and run. My role is 30% admin, 50% project work and 20% adhoc activities.

My day-to-day responsibilities are wide in scope and vary from strategic to operational work. I h ad a mixture of projects and BAU.

I am satisfied with my role on a week-to-week/month-to-month basis. On a day-to-day basis I respond to requests from team members to collate and analyse company, market and industry data, and prepare presentations for business projects and requests. I also have opportunities to lead smaller projects and presentations that I identify a need for on a month-to-month basis. Overall, on a day-to-day basis my role can involve quite mundane activities that do not utilise my tertiary level education, but with a bigger picture view I see the benefit in my exposure to high-level concepts and business leaders as my team operates across the business.

My daily role is focused on Process Safety which is a specific area within Process Engineering. I have daily tasks and long term projects to deliver on. It is not as technically challenging as a unit Process Engineer role however you require a strong foundation in the processes in order to understand our Process Safety risks.

Currently quite transactional, however developing analytical skills and awareness of financial processes which will be beneficial longer term. Plenty of opportunities to take on projects, attend training courses and learn about the Supply business through interaction with colleagues daily, participation in various meetings and leave cover. Developing a strong understanding of shipping terminology and industry and the role of ships in the oil business, which is very valuable insight to have in the oil industry
