The Byrnecut Group
With nearly 6,000 employees, the Byrnecut Group is a full-service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and Internationally. We operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.
About the Program:
We are seeking passionate Mining Engineering students to join our 2025/26 Summer Vacation Program. Over 12 weeks, students will have the chance to apply their academic knowledge in a dynamic underground mining environment, working alongside experienced operators and leaders at one of our mine sites across Australia.
Our Vacation Program offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and build professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Designed as a pathway into our Graduate Mining Engineer Program, we encourage students to apply if they are interested in transitioning into a Graduate role at Byrnecut after completing their degree. The time spent in the Vacation Program can contribute towards the 24-month Graduate Program.
At Byrnecut, our success is driven by our people. We seek students who align with our core values of People, Innovation, Safety, and Results. In return, we offer world-class training, ongoing support, and access to a vast array of resources and networks to help you build a successful, long-term career with us.
