As a graduate in the Trade Compliance stream, you will be involved in activities that support the execution and maintenance of CSL’s world-class trade compliance program, facilitating production and distribution of life-saving products to patients.
The program’s focus is to ensure CSL legal entities operating worldwide are compliant with international trade laws and regulations, Customs regulations, sanctions, and export control laws, as they relate to the importation and exportation of goods, services and technologies.
Global trade compliance fuels smooth operations in a complex cross-border business landscape, while maximizing feasible savings for the business.
You will be providing support to the global team with Harmonised System Commodity Classifications (HS) classification, origin, preference and Customs value determination, pharmaceutical products-specific partner government agency requirements, import and export permits or registrations.
You will be part of the backbone of cross-functional collaboration, working with various internal and external stakeholders, including Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Legal, Finance, Customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
