Excellent facilities

The PM&C offices in Barton are excellently maintained, and very modern. The National Circuit precinct which includes PM&C and several other nearby buildings provides services and activities to all employees in the area e.g., lunchtime yoga or mat pilates classes. The office has basement carparking, excellent end-of-trip facilities, clean and well-furnished kitchens, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and other popular spots nearby. PM&C is walking distance from Parliament, and Old Parliament House and has green spaces in the immediate vicinity, such as York Park and Parkes Place. The dress code at PM&C is more formal than most public service departments given the importance of being the Prime Minister's department and working with various stakeholders, including directly with Ministers and their offices. However, there is no enforced attire, rather an understanding that everyone will take a mature approach to 'dress for their day'. In my case, I often dress in business casual on days when there are no meetings with external stakeholders and it is unlikely I will be required in an official capacity but on others where that is the case, corporate attire is the norm. You will often find that many different work areas within PM&C will have traditions around attire, many of which help brighten up the work day!

Modern office spaces with stand-up desks, ergonomically workspaces/stations/equipment (the latter on assessment/application). Bright, large windows, greenery outside, great views to Parliament House from certain areas. Modern facilities. Dress code varying from relaxed to ultra-corporate depending on work area and how important people think they are.

The offices are lovely and sit-stand desks are the norm. The location is convenient and there are some nice places to walk around nearby. It's 5 minutes walk away from Parliament House. Dress code depends a bit but it's not too formal.

Dress code flexible but professional. Facilities and office location are great. A gym would be nice!

Dress code depends on division/branch. Some casual some formal. Office is great! parking options not so much

The Company location and space is great. It is lacking in terms of parking facilities. Parking is around $16.50 a day outside (poorly maintained). The Department parking is more expensive with SES receiving extensive discounts on parking (even though they can afford to pay full price). There are no parking options within a 3km radius that is below $15.00 a day. The dress code is really good. As long as you are neat there are no issues (jeans and casual wear like joggers and sneakers are okay).

The office is fairly new and it's quite a good place to work with modern amenities. There are adequate desk pods, offices, kitchen/lunch areas, bathrooms and change rooms with showers. There are lockers, bike racks, etc. The dress code is business, no casual Fridays.

Dress code is professional, which suits the staff. Facilities are not state of the art, but are quite good.

Widely varies between offices, but majority of offices are quite old and need work.

Formal dress code in National Office.

Dress code is formal business depending on the office that you are in. The Barton office is more formal while the Woden offices are less formal. The office space matches.

Company’s technology systems and offices are out of date. Takes a long time for government to catch up to new ways and modes of operating in an office space — competing employers are Google etc.

The facilities are modern and open, and the location is quite beautiful. Dress code is standard professional attire.

The dress code is more formal than other government departments, but not more formal than the private sector.
