We have a number of policies and programs to achieve a 35% women split in senior roles by 2025. The Workplay program that has recently been announced is one of these, which will encourage female AFL players to join John Holland in further employment outside of Football. John Holland has a company-wide Pride network that hosts a range of events and supports days such as 'Wear it Purple' Day. We have equal parental leave for both male and female employees, male employees are encouraged to take this opportunity just as much as female employees.

I was expecting when I first met my team, that there would not be many women around however I was pleasantly surprised that 50% of my team are women in engineering. I think John Holland is really making an effort in recruiting women and respecting them. I find that the staff here are quite diverse and there is an LGBT group active in the workplace that promote events.
