Kraft Heinz is now taking applications for our Graduate Program. Our program aims to develop you into a future leader of our company. It is designed for ambitious talent who seek a performance-based culture where they operate as owners, thrive as agents of change and channel their passion, curiosity and go-getter attitude into doing better every day.

Commencing January 2024 in our Melbourne office, our 12-month program will see you join an ANZ cohort of other ambitious Graduates. You will learn directly from and work with our Kraft Heinz Executive Team and other senior leaders, work across a range of functions including Sales, Foodservice, Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and People & Performance and travel to our factory sites to see exactly how our products get made. As a Kraft Heinz Graduate, you will be adding value as a full-time employee from day one; doing real work, delivering real results and making a real impact.

Designed to broaden your knowledge of how a multinational food company operates, the 12-month program includes:

  • A 10-week hands-on onboarding and induction into all the different functions to provide you with the knowledge and understanding you will need to be successful as a future leader within Kraft Heinz
  • Two 5-month rotations across two functions of the business where you will take ownership of project-managing and delivering a real Business Project with real business impact and a Business Placement where you will complete real work and develop a deep understanding of how one of our functions operates on a day-to-day basis

At the conclusion of the 12-month program, you will be placed into a meaningful role within one of our functions where you will be able to add immediate value.

My current role is placed with the Learning and Development team. day-to-day I have enough work to complete daily, with weekly check-ins with my manager. I have a routine throughout the week. This includes check-ins, stand-up calls and other meetings with enough autonomy to feel trusted I can complete tasks myself to a good standard.

Day to day is a lot of customer meetings, talking through pricing and customer service. Building presentations and working with other departments to try to unload large quantities of excess stock that our manufacturing sites have on hand

Pros and cons of working at Kraft Heinz Company

Pros

  • As a graduate at Kraft Heinz, the level of exposure to the senior leadership team and to the wider business in general is what stood out to me.

  • The culture of the company is probably one of the highlights... Everyone has been really welcoming and supportive.

  • The grad program is a great way to progress at Kraft Heinz.

  • The company is very flexible with working hours.

  • Another great aspect of this company is the global reach, being connected internationally is such a great asset.

Cons

    • Sometimes, the work-life balance can be challenging.

    • Outdated internal data systems... which leads to widespread inefficiencies.

    • At my specific site they do not trust us enough... I feel like my site does not follow the same guidelines as others.

    • You'll be expecting to do whatever you'll need, including overtime and working over weekends.

    • The hardest part about working here is the complexity of the business and the product portfolio.
