What you’ll do

Our Ramsay Pharmacy Intern Program is your chance to work alongside experienced pharmacists and play a crucial role in accurately dispensing medications, assisting with medication management and providing vital medication information to our valued patients. 

Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, you'll ensure seamless patient care while contributing to various pharmacy operations. Your commitment to compliance with regulations and ethical guidelines will prioritise patient safety and confidentiality.

Pharmacy Intern Training Program 

As you work towards achieving your supervised practice hours, you’ll enjoy comprehensive support to develop your pharmacy knowledge and skills including weekly tutorials, workbooks, quizzes, and exam preparation facilitated by our trained AHPRA examiners and clinical pharmacist educators, senior staff, preceptors and supervisors.

As a Pharmacy Intern, you'll participate in the transformative Growth Series, equipping you with vital lessons for a successful healthcare career. Throughout the series, you’ll gain insights into avoiding errors, implementing safety nets, reviewing high-risk situations, and exploring ongoing professional development and career pathways.

To be eligible for the Ramsay 2025 Pharmacy Intern Program, you must have

  • Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification (this must be completed before commencing internship)
  • Be provisionally registered with AHPRA by early 2025
  • Available for a minimum of 12 months full-time employment
  • Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, including COVID-19
