The RDA Summer Internship program provides a platform to launch your career in the defence industry. As an Intern, you will be responsible for supporting your team as it engages with stakeholders within the business and across the Defence sector. The program provides students with access to mentoring, challenging real world projects, professional development and structured performance feedback with opportunities to be considered for Rheinmetall’s Graduate Program. 

We offer paid work experience to students who are currently in their penultimate or final year of undergraduate study in supply chain, procurement or relevant degree.  You should be commercially minded, solutions focused, capable of operating in a heavily regulated environment and a clear communicator.

The experience and skillset best suited to this opportunity includes:  

  • Students in their penultimate or final year of a supply chain, procurement or relevant degree.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated high level of personal motivation and willingness to learn.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Availability to work full time between November 2023 and February 2024 with two weeks off over Christmas.
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (so must hold Australian Citizenship).
