Clients with any cognitive deficiency are whom we are best placed to care for. Such cognitive issues could arise from Acquired Brain Injury, any of the forms of Dementia (such as Alzheimer's, Lewy Body or Vascular), traumatic injuries such as car accidents, or even Transient Ischemic events, strokes, or other causes of white tissue damage.

Recruitment Process

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Valid Right to Work in Australia
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Enrolled or completed minimum Certificate III, Certificate IV in Disability/ Individual Support/Mental Health or any other disability care-related certifications in Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
  • First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (required)
  • CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (required)
  • Evidence of Covid vaccinations
  • Willing to complete the compliance requirements and certifications once successful.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Remuneration

As with most Disability Support providers, we pay the SCHADS Award. We ensure that our team is classified correctly based on their job description and the level of care required, taking a person-centred approach. We offer Support Care Workers the opportunity to permanent opportunities within three months.

Growth

Our growth trajectory has been defined, and our Workforce Plan has been developed and implemented. We require more great people to join our successful team. Our leaders undergo consistent training and development to ensure they can mentor and grow talent, and our learning culture sets out to bridge knowledge gaps. 

Whilst client-specific training is mandatory, we also offer additional training via e-learning modules, free to employees, to ensure they can continually grow their skills and knowledge.
