How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
My manager is always available when I need him. He has weekly catch ups with everyone to monitor progress, performance, address any concerns, etc. He is always aware of all aspects of the project so he can help anyone.

Extremely helpful in most cases. Sometimes busy schedules can interfere with their ability to help but is easy to reach out to other team members.

The management, at all levels, has been great when it comes to professional reviews and feedback. Although busy, I felt there was an active effort from the management within my team to keep communication up, provide feedback and work on the goals set out at the start of the program.

I am satisfied with my managers. They are accessible when one or the other were not around. However, whenever the line manager was needed, he was proactive to reply and help.

Managers are very friendly and are good mentors. However, they can be hard to reach or I may get a late response due to them being busy

Worked with various managers across the job some were more responsive than others. Engineering team quite busy - regular performance reviews could be more helpful. Recognition happens frequently though. Commercial team very responsive and willing to teach and mentor.

Yes I am satisfied, they are not intimidating has share a wealth of knowledge. I interact with my P.E most of the time but the SPE always checks in on all the engineers daily.

We have an open plan office space so the managers sit with the team. Everyone has their own expertise so the managers often ask others for advice, they just make the final decisions on things. It's actually really great to see people interacting of different levels all the time.

Overall I have had good managers who listen and helped me grow. They continue to mentor me and lead me in the right direction to mature well as an engineer. That said, I have had mangers that were not supportive and in some cases caused a hostile environment.

This is largely variable, and depends on the manager, your role and the performance / progression of the project team.

My manager is fantastic but I know I have a unique relationship where I am my manager's only charge unlike a lot of other business units. He is a fantastic mentor - extremely knowledge and really understanding and supportive. We work side by side.
