I usually do project work writing reports and assessments, and occasionally help with job proposals or bid and sometimes head out on fieldwork

I am a sustainability officer, largely looking at renewable energy and carbon accounting.

Designing the electrical diagrams. Conduct the maximum demand calculation..

I'm involved in phase 1, 2 and 3 environmental assessments, as well as waste classifications. My day will range from completing fieldwork, analysing results and writing reports.

My day to day responsibilities as a grad have been interesting, no day is the same, which is something I enjoy. I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to multiple different roles and responsibilities across our team.

Helping out with seniors with whatever they need. Could be helping with reports or doing some design work.

Graduate designer. My day to day includes making spreadsheets, liasing with drafters and talking to suppliers

Working on the projects, meetings with the Seniors.

Assist in GI reports, analysis of rock mechanic test results, and GIS works.

Feel engaged and challenged, but haven't got many detailed engineering tasks.

As graduate I'm learning things every day so i don't have any allocated specific responsibilities yet.

I'm an energy engineer so my tasks are around solar power related applications and designs. I assist to contractor queries and aid senior engineers with their tasks.

Our team works really well on day to day responsibility. We do discuss the weekload every monday morning in our section meeting helps people to know what they are doing for the whole week.

It changes day to day and week to week. I do site inspections, design work, report writing, and reviews.

My role is a graduate transport engineer and some of my responsibilities include: - design reviews of plans - report writing e.g. transport impact assessments and tra_c management plans - liaising with clients, other designers, and stakeholders in relation to tra_c matters Overall, I am relatively satisfied with my work, but it could be improved by minimising high workload and being able to explore and learn about di_erent parts of transport engineering rather than being stuck doing design mostly.

Design and analysis of structures. Report writing.

I have been through a 2 year graduate program and have been exposed to a variety of work which has been satisfying. I am a civil engineer, but the role of civil can vary depending on the lines of work. There is no fixed day - to - day, in design it may be doing calculations, marking up drawings, having discussions with other disciplines. Sometimes it can be modelling, and sometime project admin tasks land and site visits are needed to understand site conditions.

Transport planner, responsible for providing advice to clients regarding transport strategies, including parking strategies, active transport strategies etc.

There are days when I encounter challenges and feel overwhelmed, while on other days, it feels like I am not challenged enough. I think this dynamic balance is good though.
