Step 2: Screening process
You will be required to complete an online behavioural and cognitive test (select disciplines only).
We will review each application thoroughly and consider a range of aspects such as academic standing, extracurricular activities and work experience.
Step 3: Assessment centre
If you are successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a 3-hour assessment centre. During the assessment centre, we will evaluate your ability to work within a team, have an office tour of our brand new office in Elizabeth Quay and a one-on-one interview.
Step 4: Pre-employment checks
If you perform well at the assessment centre, you may be invited to undergo pre-employment checks. These will include a medical, reference checks, academic checks and obtaining proof of work rights.
Step 5: Offer of employment
If you are successful in obtaining a position with us, you will receive a phone call from one of our recruitment advisors who will talk you through everything you need to know about joining Chevron. You will then receive your employment contract via email.
Chevron's structured 12-week summer intern program provides an opportunity to gain valuable insight and experience working on real oil and gas projects in a supportive and diverse environment. To be eligible for Chevron’s graduate program you must have completed a relevant bachelor or higher within the last three years and have less than three years of relevant work experience.
